Required documents:

1. Vehicle inspection record (with failed items remarked).
2. Original “New License Plate Registration Form” (not required for private small vehicles and large heavy motorcycles).
3. Vehicle registration certificate.
4. Compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate (with a validity more than 30 days).

Fees:

1. The reinspection fee will be waived one time within seven days after the vehicle is confirmed failed in passing the inspection. The reinspection fee will be collected from the eighth day.
2. Reinspection fee:
   • Large vehicles (including tractors): NT$600
   • Small vehicles: NT$450
   • Trailer: NT$450
   • Heavy and light motorcycles: NT$200
   • Large heavy motorcycles: NT$200
   • Automobile spare engine: NT$450
   • The second reinspection fee of the year for private small vehicles that are manufactured for more than ten years: NT$300
