Temporary inspection for transfer of vehicle ownership (free)

  1. Vehicle ownership transfer registration form.
  2. Vehicle registration certificate.
  3. Original new vehicle license plate registration form (not applicable to private small vehicle and motorcycles).
  4. Compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate (in new owner’s name) with validity more than 30 days when submitting the application. Vehicles that were manufactured for more than ten years (five years for motorcycles) should be carried out temporary inspection. However, the inspection can be exempted if the last date passed inspection (periodic or temporary) is within one month (for vehicle) or within three months (for motorcycle).
  5. If vehicles manufactured for more than ten years are transferred to new ownership during suspension of use, a temporary inspection will be required for resumption of use.

Temporary inspection for vehicles with serious accident (free)

  1. Notice of temporary inspection for vehicles with serious accident.
  2. Certificate of repair (maintenance) issued by legal automobile repair industry or authorized service plant by agent (dealer) that is with company, commercial or factory registration certificate according to law.
  3. Unified invoice.
  4. Repairing bill.
  5. Vehicle registration certificate.
  6. Original new vehicle license plate registration form (not applicable to private small vehicles and motorcycles).
  7. Compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate with validity more than 30 days when submitting the application.

Temporary inspection for the found stolen vehicle (with no cancellation registration) (free)

  1. Vehicle registration certificate.
  2. Original new vehicle license plate registration form.
  3. Compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate with validity more than 30 days when submitting the application.

Stolen vehicles

After filing the stolen vehicle with the police, if the owner has never dealt with stolen vehicle cancellation registration, please submit the proof document of a stolen vehicle issued by the police when the vehicle is found and handle according to the remark and note on the proof as below:

  1. If the complete vehicle is found (including license plate) and is confirmed by the temporary inspection that the bodywork or vehicle identification number is not altered, it is no need to carry out license plate revocation and reissuance.
  2. If the vehicle is found with no license plate and is confirmed by the temporary inspection that the bodywork or vehicle identification number is not altered, it can be handled as lost for reissuance.
  3. If the bodywork or engine identification number has been changed when the vehicle is found, it should be handled as found revocation and re-engraving.

Temporary inspection for resumption of use (fees will be the same as periodic inspection)

  1. Registration modification form.
  2. Suspension of use registration form.
  3. Original new vehicle license plate registration form (not applicable to private small vehicles and motorcycles).
  4. Compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate with validity more than 30 days when submitting the application.
  5. Vehicles with suspension of use for more than three months should pass the inspection before applying for resumption of use. (fee required)
  6. Vehicles that are transferred ownership during the suspension of use and were manufactured for more than 10 years are not carried out any temporary inspection. (free)
  7. The specified inspection date is overdue. (fee required)
  8. Registered suspension of use due to damaged parts.
  9. Suspension of use shall not exceed one year. If the resumption of use is not registered aft that, it shall be carried out license plate revocation according to rules.
  10. Temporary inspection for resumption of use should follow the same items and standards as periodic inspection.

Requested inspection due to the violation of penalties

  1. Traffic violation citation or temporary inspection notice and official letter.
  2. Vehicle registration certificate (exempted if the certificate is withheld).
  3. Original new vehicle license plate registration form (not applicable to private small vehicles and motorcycles).
  4. Compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate with validity more than 30 days when submitting the application.

Note:

  1. Any outstanding taxes and penalties shall be paid off first.
  2. The application should be done within one month after passing the temporary inspection or the inspection for resumption of use. Re-inspection will be required if overdue.
