3.Vehicle manufacturing date, seating capacity, vehicle registration number, vehicle license, recent three-year periodic inspection records, next scheduled inspection date, and most recent maintenance records.

4.Driver qualifications: possession of a valid driver’s license and a registered tour bus driver certificate.

5.Compulsory automobile liability insurance and additional compensation agreements, valid throughout the rental period.

6.Compliance with traffic safety regulations regarding safety equipment.

7.If vehicles from other companies are used, they must meet the conditions specified in the contract.

8.Drivers must undergo alcohol testing before and during the trip. If the test result exceeds the legal limit, the situation should be handled according to the standard rental contract for tourist buses.

A well-managed tourist bus company should have the following characteristics:

1.A comprehensive vehicle maintenance system with complete maintenance records.

2.Clear records of drivers’ experience and violations, along with effective fleet management.

3.A reasonable travel route plan that considers drivers’ working time and rest periods.

4.Proper rental agreements with customers, adherence to customer-first service, and avoidance of unauthorized passenger solicitation or stops at sales areas.

According to Article 65 of the Highway Act, automobile owners shall have liability insurance under this article. The operator of tourist bus transportation shall have liability insurance for passengers. To ensure full protection during the journey, it is recommended that passengers additionally purchase travel accident insurance.

Qualified drivers must possess a valid tour bus driver registration certificate, which should be visibly placed on the right side of the vehicle’s dashboard while driving. The driver's photo and name should face passengers for easy identification.

Before departure, carefully verify the vehicle license, driver's license, and related documents to ensure they match the bus operator’s provided details, such as the vehicle number and driver's name. Confirm that the vehicle's license has not expired, and check the validity of the driver's license and inspection dates. Ensure that the dispatch order, rental contract, and a valid tour bus driver registration certificate are carried.

Additionally, complete the "Pre-departure Inspection and Emergency Drill Record Form for Institutional and Group Tourist Bus Rentals" with the driver. The driver should demonstrate the use of emergency exits and ensure that all escape routes are accessible and functional. If any inspection items do not meet the regulations, the operator must rectify the issues immediately or provide a replacement vehicle.
