Quarterly Charge:
- Petrol car = NT$2.5 x monthly fuel consumption x 3 months
- Diesel car = NT$1.5 x monthly fuel consumption x 3 months
Yearly Charge:
- Petrol car = NT$2.5 x monthly fuel consumption x 12 months
- Diesel car = NT$1.5 x monthly fuel consumption x 12 months
The daily charge shall be calculated by dividing the quarterly charge by three months and then by 30 days. Any fractional amount resulting from the calculation shall be rounded down to the nearest whole number.
For motor vehicles not listed above, those with a cylinder displacement exceeding the highest listed category shall be subject to the highest charge, while those with a cylinder displacement below the lowest listed category shall be subject to the lowest charge.
