Required documents:
- Original “New License Plate Registration Form” (not required for private small vehicles and large heavy motorcycles).
- Vehicle registration certificate.
- Compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate (with a validity more than 30 days).
Inspection fees:
- Large vehicles (including tractors): NT$600
- Small vehicles: NT$450
- Trailer: NT$450
- Large heavy motorcycle: NT$200
Notes:
Vehicles violating “Road Traffic Safety Regulation Article 17” (vehicles not following periodic or temporary inspection by the inspection deadline) and are reported with record as well as overdue from the specified inspection date on the vehicle registration certificate for more than seven months will not be allowed the inspection operation across county or city.
