A 6.1-magnitude earthquake occurred offshore Hualien at 02:21 today (27th) and a 5.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in Xiulin Township, Hualien County at 02:49 today (27th). The Public Works Section of the Central Branch of this Bureau immediately mobilized to confirm Road conditions, the results show that the roads, bridges and tunnels in Miaozhong Changtou are all normal and there is no damage. In order to maintain the safety of road users, the Central Branch of the Bureau will follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) and regulations to strengthen the inspection (inspection) operations of relevant road sections, slopes and bridges in the earthquake area.
