According to statistics from the Expressway Bureau and the Highway Bureau, more than 40,000 cases of leakage, scattering, detachment, and falling occur on the road every year, which can easily cause lane congestion and blockage, and may even lead to secondary accidents. Among them, leakage is the largest, accounting for about 60%. Vehicle leakage will cause the road surface to be slippery and muddy, affecting driving safety. If the leakage is unknown liquid, the impact on road safety will be self-evident. . Therefore, preventing and reducing vehicle leakage has become an urgent issue.

Today at the Miaoli Supervision Station, the gold medal lecturer of the Sixth Highway Police Brigade of the National Highway Police Station, Deputy Captain Liu Xianyu, was invited to lecture on leakage prevention, common violations and key points of enforcement; Section Chief Wu of the Miaoli Supervision Station promoted this year's 6 After the road traffic management penalty regulations were revised on March 30, the penalty for leakage violations, in addition to a fine of 9,000 yuan (12,000 yuan for high-speed roads), will also include 3 violation points (2 points for non-commercial vehicles) and acceptance of road violations. If the traffic safety training causes dirt on the lane, the lane treatment fee will start at NT$3,000 (charged based on time). In addition, according to the penalty standards for the three freight industries, if there are two leakage violations every two months, the car owner will be fined an additional NT$18,000.

The Miaoli Supervision Station reminds that if you drive with 12 violation points within a year, your driver's license will be suspended for 2 months, which will have a huge impact on your right to work, and leakage violations will endanger the safety of passers-by. Therefore, we specifically call on all drivers to obey the traffic rules. Follow the rules, develop the habit of checking for leaks before driving and while driving, and jointly protect the rights and safety of yourself and others!
