In order to maintain the safety of passers-by and prevent vehicles with canceled license plates from wandering around, the Hualien Supervision Station cooperates with the Hualien County Government, Hualien County Police Department and the Hualien Branch of the Administrative Enforcement Department of the Ministry of Justice to use multi-tech law enforcement and big data analysis to strengthen inspections They also towed canceled vehicles and recovered canceled license plates, in order to curb people's fluke mentality and prevent vehicles with canceled license plates from illegally hitting the road.

On the 12th of this month, the Hualien Supervision Station, in conjunction with the Hualien Branch of the Administrative Enforcement Department and the Traffic Police Team, used the supervision system and the mobile (vehicle-mounted) license plate recognition system to seize a deregistered vehicle on a certain road section in Hualien City. The owner's surname was owned by the owner. There were a total of 24 unpaid license taxes, traffic violation fines, air pollution law fines and fuel fees, with an amount of more than 200,000 yuan. The canceled vehicles were seized on the spot and towed and moved to a storage yard.

According to road traffic safety regulations, vehicles driving on roads must have valid license plates. Vehicles that have overdue inspections or have license plates canceled without permission are not allowed to drive on roads. If the vehicle license has been revoked and is still driving or parking on the road illegally, in accordance with Article 12 of the Road Traffic Management Punishment Regulations, the car owner will be fined not less than NT$3,600 but not more than NT$10,800, and the vehicle will be moved and kept on the spot and the license plate will be withheld.

According to statistics, the majority of vehicles with canceled license plates are overdue inspections. The Hualien Supervision Station urges vehicle owners to undergo vehicle inspections according to the designated inspection dates. If the vehicle is canceled due to overdue inspections due to failure to undergo regular vehicle inspections, please return the canceled license plates as soon as possible in accordance with the regulations and complete the inspection. After clearing the violations and taxes, re-inspect the vehicle and obtain the license plate before driving on the road to ensure the safety of yourself and passers-by. If the public is not sure whether the vehicle license status is revoked or revoked, they can inquire through the "License Scraping, Registration and Revoked Inquiry" function on the supervision service website to avoid being punished for violating regulations on the road.

In addition, car owners can use the "Multiple Channels to Collect Mobile Phones and Emails" function of the Supervision Service Network (https://www.mvdis.gov.tw/) to collect/enter relevant information at the Supervision Service Network/Driver/Multiple Channels , and then you can receive SMS notifications on supervision offices, station vehicle inspection notices, gas and fuel bills, traffic violations, etc. on your mobile phone or e-mail. It is recommended that the public make more use of it.
