In order to enhance motorcycle riding safety and promote a culture of traffic safety, the Taichung Motor Vehicles Office has specially cooperated with the Taichung Motorcycle Commercial Association, the Taichung Automobile Commercial Association, and the Taichung Greater Taichung Motorcycle Commercial Association this year to launch the " Attending Motorcycle Riding Class Firstly, No Violation Lucky Draw" event this year. This is to encourage people to attend motorcycle riding classes and learn about safe riding practices and defensive driving concepts.

According to research commissioned by the Directorate General of Highways, attending motorcycle riding classes before obtaining a license can reduce the risk of violations by 56% and the risk of accidents by 35%. To promote motorcycle riding classes, the Taichung Motor Vehicles Office has launched the "Attending Motorcycle Riding Class Firstly, No Violation Lucky Draw" event. From now until November 30 of this year, those who register for and pass the motorcycle riding class in the Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou areas, obtain a driving license, and ride without violations before the lottery date are eligible to apply for a subsidy of NT$1,300 from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and can also participate in the lucky draw. The prizes include cash, commodity cards, and gifts, with a total of 34 winners. The highest cash prize is NT$2,000, and the highest market value of the prize is approximately more than NT$2,000.

In addition, the Directorate General of Highways has collaborated with Hotai Finance to launch the "Motorcycle Riding Class Road Safety Promotion Program." In addition to applying for the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' NT$1,300 training subsidy, Hotai Finance has provided an additional NT$1,300 "Riding Training Overlay Subsidy" and a "Medium or Low-Income Families' Full Subsidy" that subsidizes the cost of training for medium or low-income households to ease the burden of training fees on the public who sign up for motorcycle riding class.
