ContentThe Annual fuel fees for self-use motor vehicles was levied on July 1, 2021. In concern of pandemic prevention measures and potential COVID-19 cluster, the deadline for fuel fee has been extended from July 31 to August 31.
According to the DGH, the 2021 Self-use Motor Vehicle Fuel Fee Payment Notices were expected to be sent out by the end of June. Vehicle owners can utilize the website of Motor Vehicle Driver Information service (https://www.mvdis.gov.tw/), the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service App, mobile payment methods such as BeePay, LINE Pay Money, GamaPay, JkoPay, Shopee, YuanTa Bank, or the telephone payment system (412-1111, 412-6666, service code 169#) for the payment. While the owners who pay through the above methods using a financial account are exempted from service charges, individuals paying through credit cards should first contact the bank for relevant service charges to avoid future disputes. Vehicle owners can also take the payment notice and pay at the counter in financial institutions, the post office, or supermarket counters.
The DGH reminds the public that the deadline for fuel fees is automatically extended from July 31 to August 31. During the pandemic, the DGH strongly encourages vehicle owners to make use of online or telephone payment systems.
