The Directorate General of Highways has announced that the statutory collection period for fuel fee of 2021 is from July 1 to August 31. Payers should pay within the given timeframe.
The Kaohsiung Motor Vehicles Office (KOMV) states that fuel fee payment notice will be sent to payers by mail. If payers lose or fail to receive the notices, they may apply for re-issuance and pay from KIOSK in 4 major convenience stores.
During collection period, there are several ways to pay as follows: (1) Financial institutions, (2) ATM, (3) designated account transfer, (4) 4 major convenience stores, (5) Motor Vehicles Office. Furthermore, payers may go online by logging in the website：https://www.mvdis.gov.tw/m3-emv-fee/fee/fuelFee. Also, they can download the Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service (MVDIS) App, and pay it online.
The KOMV reminds payers that online paying is 24-hours available.
