ContentThe 2022 fuel taxes on private cars and motorcycles shall be paid from July 1 to July 31. The Directorate General of Highways, MOTC, advises vehicle owners to pay on time.
The Directorate General of Highways stated that the payment notices for 2022 fuel taxes on private cars and motorcycles have been mailed before the end of June. The vehicle owners may pay the taxes through the motor vehicles service network (https://www.mvdis.gov.tw/), the motor vehicles service APP, or telephone payment system (412-1111, 412-6666, service code 169#) by making the transfer from their financial current account or with credit cards, or go to financial institutions, post offices or convenience stores to make the payment.
To encourage on-time payment, reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment, the Directorate General of Highways is organizing a prize-drawing activity. Anyone who has applied for (or currently applies for) electronic payment or direct debit before the specified deadline and completes the payment or makes the payment successfully using electronic fund transfer in July can participate in the prize-drawing activity without additional registration. Then, the Directorate General of Highways will randomly select the prize winners from those who are qualified by computer. For details, please visit the website of the Directorate General of Highways (https://www.thb.gov.tw/).
