Private small passenger vehicles (excluding children-only bus and LPG car) and large heavy motorcycles that were manufactured for less than five years are exempted from periodic inspection, that were manufactured more than five years but less than ten year should be inspected at least once every year, and that were manufactured for more than ten years should be inspected at least twice every year.

Commercial heavy passenger vehicles that have been manufactured for more than 10 years should be inspected at least three times every year.

Leased small passenger vehicles or leased passenger-cargo vehicle with lease term more than one year but less than three years are exempted from periodic inspection, with lease term more than three years but less than six years should be inspected at least once every year, and with lease term for more than six years should be inspected for at least twice every year.

Trailers should be carried out periodic inspection at least once every year.

Other private vehicles and commercial vehicles that were manufactured for less than five years should be inspected at least once every year. Vehicles that were manufactured for more than five years should be inspected at least twice every year.

Owners of commercial large passenger vehicles that were manufactured for more than 10 years should apply for inspection to Motor Vehicles Office one month before the specified inspection date while owners of other vehicles before or after one month of the specified inspection date by presenting vehicle registration certificate, new license plate registration form (not applicable to small vehicles and large heavy motorcycles), and compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate (with validity more than 30 days).
