Can the disabled with quadriparesis and physical handicap register automobile (motorcycle) driving license test?
Applicants with no missing trunk and limbs but with functional disability caused by congenital or acquired diseases (such as quadriparesis or physical handicap causing difficulty in standing up or walking) but are able to move independently after installing assistive equipment can register small vehicle driving license test or light or general heavy motorcycle driving license test with automatic transmission cars or customized cars. However, applicants who meet one of the following conditions can register light or general heavy motorcycle driving license test with general light or heavy motorcycles or small vehicle driving license test with ordinary vehicles.
1. Who can walk independently without assistive equipment or other people’s assistance.
2. Who can squat down and stand up freely.
3. Who can operate ordinary vehicles without modification freely.
