Traffic control measures to be conducted for Ho-Chung Section open-cut tunnel of Provincial Highway No. 9D along Suhua Corridor

To ensure road user traffic safety, the Nan’ao Branch of the Eastern Region Branch Office, Directorate General of Highways, MOTC (Ministry of Transportation and Communications), is carrying out construction work in the open-cut tunnel located at the 62K+400 mark of the Ho-Chung Section of Provincial Highway No. 9D along the Suhua Corridor. Road closures will be implemented from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from February 6 to February 10, 2023. Traffic will be allowed to pass for 15 minutes every hour. During the joint defense & disaster relief drill period from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on February 8 and February 9, the Ho Chung–Ho Jen Section of the Suhua Highway will not be subject to traffic control. Please plan your trip in advance and follow the instructions of the on-site traffic control personnel.

The Directorate General of Highways, MOTC kindly reminds road users that various construction and dynamic controls are being carried out along the Suhua Corridor, and to please pay attention to traffic control news at all times. Road users can use the Happy Buck mobile app to receive the latest provincial road conditions(http://168.thb.gov.tw)and voice broadcasts via mobile devices and are reminded to pay attention to broadcast messages at all times.
