The main responsibility of the Directorate General of Highways is to manage and provide the service for the three transportation element, people, vehicle, and roadways. Within the responsibility, we focus on the construction and maintenance for roadways and bridges in order to provide the convenience for the public. On the other hand, we also provide motor vehicle administration to ensure the traffic safety for the public. Therefore, the Engineering Dep. and Motor Vehicle Administration Dep. are both service-oriented environment where we provide a safe, convenient, comfort, efficient, and friendly highways service.

Under the leadership of each Secretary of Directorate General of Highways and the devotion of the staff member, we see great performance in both Engineering Dep. and I Motor Vehicle Administration Dep. We expect the staff member can maintain the excellent tradition. In the future, besides listening to the voice of the people, and focus on the people-first spirit, the staff member shall pay more attention to the public interest, and maintain the working moral by building up the integrity, honesty central value. We shall expand the team collaboration to build up a healthy and efficient public serving environment.
